DENTAL IMPLANTS

Premium branded implants, the gold standard to replace missing teeth and fill in any gaps.

Humans are social beings and it’s no surprise that our teeth play a vital role in communicating and engaging with those around us. We need our teeth to talk, to smile and to chew food in private and public settings. If you feel as though your quality of life is affected because of one or more missing teeth, dental implants are the solution for you.
Once a dental implant has successfully integrated into your bone your body will retain your natural bone levels around the implant and prevent your jawbone from shrinking in this region. This is a natural occurrence that is observed when there is no tooth or dental implant present in a space in your mouth.

Single Implant

A single dental implant should be used to replace a space in your mouth where one tooth has been lost. It requires a dental implant to be placed surgically into your jawbone. Once the dental implant fuses successfully into your bone an implant-crown can be placed onto this dental implant to allow both dental implant and implant-crown to function like a complete tooth replacement.

Implant Bridge

An implant bridge is when 2 to 4 adjacent teeth are missing in one area. The implant surgeon will carefully plan how many implants will be needed for this span of implant teeth to ensure that we gain maximum stability and longevity

Implant Denture

An implant retainer denture is for patients who have already had all of their teeth removed in either one or both jaws and are currently wearing a removable denture. Over time the absence of teeth in the jaws causes the jaw-bone to shrink and the denture has little bone structure to hold on to. This causes the denture to feel unstable and often rock and slide around the mouth when eating or speaking. The gold- standard for patients in this instance would be to consider having 4 implants placed in the upper jaw and 2 implants placed in the lower jaw. The new dental implants would have a clip attached to them which would allow the dentures to clip into the implants. Dentures are firmly and securely attached into place, enhancing patient quality of life. The presence of implants that have fused to the jaw bones also prevent further shrinkage of the jaw bone over time.

All-on-6

Patients who have failing teeth due to a combination of many dental reasons may not be eligible for treatment to restore their natural teeth. In this instance patients will want to consider the option of having a fixed solution to replace their missing teeth. Your restorative dentist and implant surgeon will carefully assess your bone levels using a CT scan and digital scans to ensure that you are a candidate for full jaw fixed implants. If you are medically fit and well with healthy bone levels for this treatment we will carry out 100% digital planning to ensure that we can design your implant surgery and final teeth with accuracy and precision. We will show you the digital videos of your proposed treatment to ensure that you are happy to proceed with treatment.
